Snowman Sugar Cookies +Giveaway!

(Don’t forget to scroll down to the giveaway at the bottom!!!)

One of my favorite holiday traditions is baking cookies! I have baked cookies every year since I was barely big enough to reach the stove. It was something I used to do with my mother. Then as I got older, she handed it over to me completely. It was the beginning of my love for cooking. After I had my boys, now I get to pass down the love of cooking and baking to them. That includes making cute Snowmen Sugar Cookies to get into the holiday spirit.

I love cranking up my favorite Christmas music, grabbing my kiddos, and heading to the kitchen to bake some yummy treats. I have to allow enough time because you know how baking with kids can go. Sometimes there is more mess than baking. However, every time I have my kids in the kitchen we make wonderful lasting memories together. Messy? Yes. Priceless? Absolutely! I love watching their faces peer through the oven door to catch a glimpse of the rising cookies. It takes me back to my childhood of longing anticipation. Child’s delight and simple, homespun memories and traditions that will last a lifetime.

Once the cookies are finished, then more waiting begins as they need to cool before decorating them. Isn’t that the ultimate torture?! This recipe below is using a semi-homemade twist. It is perfect for children who can’t wait for cookies to bake or for the busy parent who just doesn’t have time but still wants to squeeze in every single chance they can get to make memories.

If you want to make your cookies from scratch, you are more than welcome to do that. It is super easy! Let’s get going and make some memories!

But wait, before you go, I have one more thing for you! A GIVEAWAY!!!

2017 has flown right by and Christmas is already in the air! The giving season is upon us and I have partnered with 23 other bloggers to give TWO families $500 Paypal cash in the 4th annual Christmas Blessings Giveaway!

Our hope is to bless two families this year by allowing them to fulfill their kids’ Christmas wishes, pay off a bill, or to help build up their nest egg. Whatever the money ends up being used for, our prayer is that it helps to lessen any financial burden and/or fills a specific need.

You can earn a lot of entries using the Rafflecopter form below. I know it can seem tedious and time consuming to go through all the entries, but isn’t a chance at $500 worth it? I think it is! Plus, if all of these generous bloggers didn’t participate, we wouldn’t have been able to have such big prizes! So I hope you will take the time to go through each entry. Who knows, maybe you will find some new blogs to follow.

The giveaway will run from Monday, November 13th through Wednesday, November 22nd (ends at 11:59pm EST). Winner will be notified by email shortly after the giveaway ends and will have 48 hours to respond to claim the prize or another winner will be drawn. You must have a Paypal account to win.
